FUNDRAISING FOR THE ZIP WIRE! CAN YOU HELP?!
A zip wire costs £10,000 and is the most requested piece of equipment by children and adults alike!
Mr. Harrington, a year 6 teacher at Carden School ran the first Brighton Marathon & raised £295!
Thank you, Paul!!
On Saturday 24th April Carden Park Launch Party was held at the park.
The weather was fabulous and HAPPI, Together Group, OBCCA, 30th Scouts, Sussex Multi-Sports, the Argus & many other local groups came together to put on a wonderful event!
Thank you to all envolved, we raised £500 for the zip wire.
HAPPI had a plot at the Hollingbury Car Boot Sale on 13th June and a collection tub at Carden School's summer Fair.
They raised £131. Well done to all who supported them.
On 1st June, the Argus promised us £2500 towards the zip wire! Thank you to them!
Hollingbury Active Parents for Park Improvement(HAPPI)are writing to local businesses to ask for their support.
HAPPI is asking everyone to think of ways to raise money: through donations, sponsorship &
asking at work if the company could support us, dress down days, tubs on tills. Be Inventive!!
Any amount, however large or small will help us reach our goal!!
