The Together Group is:

  • A charitable organization and therefore non-profit making
  • Run by a committee of volunteers
  • Based in Old Boat Corner Community Centre, Hollingbury, Brighton, East Sussex
  • Providing services for the local community
  • All services are mainly funded by grants with minimal contributions from those who use them
  • CardenTots is our main project
    • A term-time, all-day drop-in playgroup for under 5s and their parents or carers
    • A support for parents & carers
    • A place to come when you just have to get out of the house
    • A stimulating, active environment for developing children's social & educational skills
  • Tots to Twelves is for holidays to include older children
  • Jumping Gym provides exercise for energetic kids
  • With extra grants we extend what we can offer to the community, including:
  • Any adult who attends Carden Tots, Jumping Gym, Tots to Twelves, Baby Group, Twins Group or Adult Exercise Sessions is very welcome to join the Together committee

Together Group Committee:


  • Meets approximately every 6 weeks
  • Times vary according to when is most convenient for all involved
  • All help is greatly appreciated
  • As we're a charity, being a Committee member is a voluntary (unpaid) role
  • It is only through the commitment and dedication of the committee that CardenTots exists and continues to grow and provide for the Hollingbury & Brighton & Hove Community

How to join the Together Group Committee:


  • Anyone who attends Carden Tots, Tots to Twelves, Baby Group, Twins Group or Adult Exercise Sessions can join the Together committee
  • All skills can be made use of from personal experiences of our services to accounting; cake baking to publicity
  • We greatly appreciate every contribution of time, energy & experience
