The Old Boat Corner Community Centre is in Hollingbury round the corner
from ASDA, between NEXT and Carden Primary School and in Carden Park.
Wheelchair Access:
All areas of the Community Centre except the back garden are accessible for wheelchair users and people
with limited mobility.
There is also a fully accessible disabled toilet.

By Car:
From the A27:
Exit A27 at Hollingbury exit; travel down Carden Avenue (ASDA will
be on your left);
go past the retail parks;
Left onto Carden Hill (Carden Park will be on your left and the school grounds
on your right);
take the first road/driveway on the left and park in the car park.
From Ditchling Road:
drive out of Brighton on Ditchling Road;
turn left into Hollingbury onto Carden Hill;
drive down Carden Hill;
go past the school (on your left);
after the the junction with Cuckmere Way go right into the road/driveway that leads to the park and community
centre only.
From London Road/Carden Avenue:
Drive up Carden Avenue from its junction with London Road;
keep traveling on Carden Ave; turn right after Carden School onto Carden Hill (Carden
Park will be on your left and the school grounds on your right);
take the first road/driveway on the left and park in the car park.
By Bus:
5B:
Leave the bus at the bus stops at the bottom of Carden Park.
From ASDA to Hangleton:
Leave the bus at the stop after ASDA.
From Hangleton to ASDA:
Leave the bus at the stop before ASDA and after Carden Primary School.
26/24:
From Coldean to Hollingbury and town:
Leave the bus at the plumbing shop at the bottom of Carden Hill before the school.
From Ditchling Rd to Coldean:
Leave the bus at the stop after the school on Carden Hill;
walk down Carden Hill to the road/driveway (on the right) that leads to the community
centre and park.
Or:
Leave the bus at the same stop as the 5B (above) on Carden Ave and walk over to
the Community centre and Carden Park.
26A:
Leave the bus at the plumbing shop at the bottom of Carden Hill (before the school);
walk down Carden Hill to the road/driveway (on the right) that leads to the community
centre and park.
